Getting started with OmegaVault

OmegaVault is a persistent memory layer for the AI tools you already use. In the next five minutes you'll have an account, your first client connected, and your first memory captured.

1. Create your account

Visit app.omegavault.app and sign up. You start on the free plan — 200 memories, no card required.

2. Create your first memory

Once you're in, you'll land on the Capture screen. Memories are the atomic unit of OmegaVault — a single, structured piece of context. Try typing a note, pasting a link, or capturing directly from the conversation you're having right now in Claude or ChatGPT.

3. Connect a client

OmegaVault is MCP-native. Any MCP-capable client — Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code Copilot — can read and write your vault with no per-app adapter.

  1. In the OmegaVault app, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Copy your personal MCP endpoint URL and token.
  3. Paste them into your client's MCP configuration. See the MCP integrations page for per-client instructions.

4. Organize with collections

Collections group related memories — by project, by client, by topic. Create one from the sidebar, then drag memories in or tag them at capture time.

5. Recall from anywhere

Once a client is connected, ask it anything that touches your stored context. The client will pull relevant memories over MCP, automatically and in context.
