What this does
Bring your memories into Cursor for persistent project context.
Requirements
- Cursor installed (latest version)
- An OmegaVault account (free plan works)
- Your OmegaVault MCP endpoint + personal access token (Settings → Connectors)
Setup
- Copy credentials from OmegaVault. Settings → Connectors → Cursor. Copy the endpoint URL and access token.
- Open Cursor MCP settings. In Cursor: Settings → MCP. Click Add new MCP server.
- Configure OmegaVault as a remote server. Select the remote/SSE transport, paste your OmegaVault endpoint and token. Field names and defaults are documented in the Cursor docs below.
- Restart Cursor. Cursor loads MCP servers at startup. Fully quit and reopen.
- Use your vault in chats. In a Cursor chat or composer, your memories are now retrievable. Ask about past decisions, project context, or stored code patterns.
- Capture from Cursor. Tell Cursor to store a snippet or decision as a memory — it writes back to OmegaVault and is instantly available to your other clients.
