What this does

How OmegaVault captures conversation context from Claude.

Requirements

• Claude Desktop or the Anthropic API connected to OmegaVault (see MCP guide)
• Capture enabled for the Claude connector (Settings → Connectors → toggle Capture)

Setup

1. Connect Claude via MCP. Follow the Claude MCP setup. AI context capture rides on the same connection.
2. Enable capture for Claude. In Settings → Connectors → Claude, toggle Capture conversations. You can scope this to specific projects or leave it global.
3. Set a capture cadence. Choose real-time (each turn) or end-of-conversation. End-of-conversation batching is more efficient for long chats.
4. Use your memories. Every captured message is structured into a memory with source attribution to Claude. Search, tag, or organize into collections.

Notes & caveats

AI-captured memories are kept separate from manually captured ones by default — you can filter by source in the OmegaVault app.
